UnderWater World is open daily from 9am - 5pm with limited trading on Anzac Day. We are closed on Christmas Day. Last Admissions are 1 hour prior to closing time.

Exploring the Reef Talk
Immerse yourself into the Great Barrier Reef and meet the beautiful animals that call it home! Learn about the stingrays and sharks that live amongst the coral as they are fed their daily snacks.
Rocky Shore & Touch Pool Talk
Discover the underwater world of the rock pools. Tickle a sea star or feel how soft a sea cucumber is, while learning about why these interesting creatures are important to our oceans.
Showtime at Seal Island
Come and meet the ‘Sealy’ crew at UnderWater World! Kick back
and relax in Seal Island as you witness amazing and entertaining
behaviours that demonstrate the natural ability of our sea lions and
fur seals.
Otter Presentation
Join us as you witness the hilarious antics of our resident Asian
small-clawed otters Lou, Mayhem and Kaos as they go about their
daily routines. On any given day you may see them interact with
their trainer, forage for their food or even amuse themselves with
their favourite toys!
Let's Talk Weird & Wonderful
Meet with one of our expert Interpretive officers who will talk to you
about the wonders of the reef – come face to face with the world’s
most venomous fish, find the mythical sea dragon and catch up
with a clownfish or two!
Fresh & Freaky Talk & Feed
Learn about the ‘freaky’ freshwater crew as they get fed! Join
Marge the Freshwater Crocodile and Makita the Sawfish as you
find out more about our unique Australian fish, and afterwards,
watch our ravenous exotic fish in a feeding frenzy!
Billabongs & Backyards Talk
Kick back as you discover what creatures stir in your backyard. Watch and learn about our cute freshwater turtle family, our prehistoric Queensland lungfish and maybe even get ‘shot’ by an Archerfish!
